Tucked into the working vineyards of Rhebokskloof Wine Estate on the western slopes of Paarl Mountain, Paarl Trails offers some of the Cape Winelands’ most rewarding singletrack. A network of well-marked routes winds through fynbos slopes, granite outcrops and oak-shaded farm roads, opening up sweeping views over the Berg River Valley. The trails suit every level — from gentle family loops and walking routes to technical climbs and flowing descents that draw seasoned mountain bikers from across the region. After your ride, refuel at the estate restaurant or settle in for a tasting of Rhebokskloof’s celebrated wines. Day permits are required and available online via Paarl Trails or at the estate. Bring water, a helmet, and a sense of adventure.
